YOUTH MENTORING

Responding to the growing youth mental health crisis, our Youth Mentoring Program will provide a safe and supportive “third place” where children and teens can connect with positive role models. We know the most valuable learning happens when children of mixed ages come together, as all involved thrive and benefit in similar and different ways. By focusing on mental well-being, we aim to help youth navigate challenges and develop healthy relationships.

LOCAL PARTNERSHIPS

We believe in the power of community collaboration. Through dynamic partnerships with local organizations we will offer enriching programs for families and children. From parent education classes taught by leaders in childhood development to engaging story times that spark imagination, these partnerships will help us provide a variety of community gathering for families. 

VOLUNTEER PROGRAMMING

Our Volunteer Program will be at the heart of building strong intergenerational connections at Heart of Play. We will invite individuals of all ages to get involved, whether it’s through helping with daily operations, leading workshops, or assisting with special events. Volunteers will bring their passion and unique talents to create a welcoming environment for our visitors, while also gaining their own valuable experience. Connecting people through service, we will foster a sense of belonging and inspire community members to take an active role in making Heart of Play a vibrant, supportive space for children, youth, and families.

RENTAL SPACES

We will offer versatile rental spaces that cater to a wide range of community needs and activities. From hosting birthday parties to offering comfortable meeting spaces for local organizations, our welcoming environment will provide the perfect backdrop for celebrations, workshops, and community gatherings. If you’re planning a private event or a community-driven initiative, our rental spaces will be designed to be flexible, inclusive, and full of fun. We are committed to creating a space where people come together to celebrate, learn, and collaborate.

COMMUNAL CLASSES & WORKSHOPS

We will offer diverse classes and workshops bringing exciting learning experiences for children, families, and home-school groups. In collaboration with local artists, educators, and organizations, these hands-on programs will encourage exploration, creativity, and lifelong learning. Whether you’re looking to enhance your child’s educational journey or simply engage in a fun, communal activity, these offerings will provide opportunities for growth and connection.
