Nina Ballew, Executive Director at Heart of Play, brings over a decade and a half of experience as a Kindergarten teacher, early childhood specialist, and educational advocate in Whatcom County. As a mom of three young children, she has a personal and professional commitment to creating inclusive spaces where all children feel seen, valued, and supported.

Her comprehensive understanding of the needs of children and families in the community, combined with her expertise in planning meaningful learning experiences, positions her as a dedicated leader in early childhood education. Nina is well-equipped to lead the strategic development of Heart of Play’s children’s museum, ensuring it serves as a vibrant hub for families to learn and grow together.
