At Heart of Play, we believe play builds belonging. Our mission is to create accessible, interactive spaces where children, youth, and families connect, create, and grow together through play.
We’re starting with a Mobile Museum—launching in summer of 2026, bringing hands-on exhibits and joyful experiences directly into parks, schools, and neighborhoods across Whatcom County—and building toward a brick-and-mortar Children’s Museum that will serve as a lasting home for discovery and connection.
Designed especially for kids ages 5–12, but built for the whole family, Heart of Play invites everyone to imagine, explore, and rediscover the simple power of play.
